A native St. Louisan, Julie Dubray is a graduate of Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School, and the University of Dayton (OH). After spending several years living in Germany, she and her husband returned to St. Louis with their three sons, now teenagers. Dubray and her family delight in showcasing St. Louis to visitors from around the world. She notes that writing this book has given her the opportunity to share her enthusiasm for the city that she loves to call home.

June Arthur Herman | Co-Author

A New Jersey native, June Herman considers herself a “St. Louisan by choice.” Married with two adult children, Herman has lived in St. Louis for nearly 30 years. She and her husband, both East Coasters, have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their adopted home town. They love exploring the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, listening to live music, and watching world class sports. Her favorite part about writing this book was researching the fascinating history behind some of St. Louis most treasured landmarks. She is a graduate of Loras College, Dubuque. IA.

Karen Willke Heyse | Illustrator
